The XLF and QQQQ were higher today, but its concerning that bellwethers GS and GOOG did not participate. In this trader's market, it is important to understand risk/reward and know when to get in and when to get out. Trends are short-lived and quick hits are the safest strategy. Stay away from oil and natural gas unless you enjoy playing the lottery. We also highlight our favorite refinery play. And keep and eye on the 10-year treasury bond, as its yield is threatening to takeout important support, indicating a possible flight to safety.
